After camping overnight under a bridge near Selenginsk and meeting local fishermen, he stops at the scenic Sleeping Lion Mountain (Gora Spyashchiy Lev) viewpoint. Upon arriving in Ulan-Ude, he explores the city center, visits the Galaxy and Pioneer shopping malls, and faces a major camper van emergency when his water heater boiler leaks in the mall's parking lot at night.
