The travelers embark on a road trip through Patagonia along the Carretera Austral in Chile. Starting from Puerto Montt, they buy fresh salmon ceviche at Cevichotes and eat it at a scenic viewpoint. They then drive to Caleta La Arena to take a ferry to Caleta Puelche, eventually arriving in Hornopirén. After spending the night at Camping Doña Herminda and visiting the local market, they secure ferry tickets from the Somarco office to continue their journey to Caleta Gonzalo and Chaitén. After staying at Chaitén, they head south towards Coyhaique, stopping at the breathtaking Mirador General Marchant before continuing their adventure towards Rio Tranquilo.
