In this episode, Lucy and Mark travel from Ulan-Ude to the Mongolian border. Along the way, they stop in the border town of Kyakhta to have dinner in front of the historic, decaying Resurrection Church. Afterward, they proceed to the Kyakhta-Altanbulag border checkpoint to cross from Russia into Mongolia, facing a long and chaotic six-hour crossing process before finally entering Mongolia late at night.
