The couple sets sail from Onsevig Havn in Denmark. Due to strong wind conditions, they decide to change their route and dock at Bagenkop Havn in Langeland, Denmark. There, they deal with a power outage on the boat and get assistance from a friendly neighbor, Tim. The next day, they sail across the Baltic Sea to Laboe (near Kiel), Germany, where they spend time with Tim and visit a local supermarket.
